September 15, 2011.............................................

My new puppies..................Yogi Bo (top) and Yaffa (bottom)................the mini-dachshunds. They were born on Jan. 31, 2011, just a few days before I had to put my beloved Molly to sleep. They have filled an empty whole in my heart and for this, I am grateful.

Surprise in the barn...................................................

Two new babies born at Graceful Acres today. One buckling and one doeling. Regina is the proud mother. She appeared to be so happy that while I was back there she was giving kisses all over my face!

A beautiful day.............................................

Today was such a lovely day. I went to the park with the girls. Took lots of pictures of Katy. We took a little food and water with us. I found a shady spot where there was a gentle breeze and I just sat and soaked it in. Sun, wind and God. I was glad to be out of the house for a while.

Morning flowers.............................................

I'm not sure what kind of flower this is, but it is beautiful.

Tea time........................................

My cup of tea this morning was an awesome "green smoothie!" So refreshing, so healthy! Here's the recipe.....................................

1/2 bag of frozen mangoes
3 small handfuls of spinach
1 very ripe banana
1 TBsp. honey
1/2 can of coconut milk
6-8 oz. water
crushed ice

Put all ingredients in a blender or vita mix and blend well. Delicious!

Off to Mandy's..............................................

Just came back from milking. Chloe seemed to do a little better this evening. As long as she is eating, she's fine. When she's full, look out!
The baby goats are just darling. I could take all five and just squeeze them.

Just about to leave for Mandy's. We will be having supper over there tonight.

Relaxing........................................

It's such a beautiful day today. I love rain! It is so refreshing. I especially like to go shopping when it's raining. Can you believe that? As much as I enjoy the rain, I do need a few days of sunshine and warm weather so I can go to the barn and take care of some things. My goats need a hair cut and the barn itself needs cleaned.
